Rosemarie Fernandez MD (Emergency medicine; Resuscitation team science) is an Associate Professor in Emergency Medicine and a patient safety scientist at the UF College of Medicine. Her expertise is in patient safety related to team and leadership performance in resuscitation teams. Dr. Fernandez is a federally funded investigator in the area of team performance. She is an expert in measurement expertise for team leadership, teamwork, team situational awareness, and patient care metrics. Dr. Fernandez is the Research Director of the Center for Experiential Learning and Simulation and a fellow of the Society of Simulation in Healthcare.
