Biography
Demetrius Solomon is a teaching assistant within the Industrial and Systems Engineering department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before joining the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Demetrius Solomon worked as an IT Business Analyst at the University of Michigan in the Information Technology Services department. He also formerly worked at the Mayo Clinic as a Training and Application Specialist within the Patient Services Department. Demetrius received his B.S. in Information Communications and Technology from Florida State University in (2009). He also received an M.S. in Health Informatics with a specialization in Human-Centered Design from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in (2019). Demetrius is currently researching topic related to human factors and systems safety, with aims to examine how human behavior, task-coordination, and knowledge sharing can improve human performance and well-being within organizations. Demetrius is a Graduate Engineering Research Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and also a GEM Associate Fellow in The National GEM Consortium. Additionally, he is also a student member of the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
