Biography
Dr. Jessica Hernandez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She earned her medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed a residency in emergency medicine at St. Luke's–Roosevelt Hospital, where she also received advanced fellowship training in emergency medicine simulation. In addition, she holds a Master’s of Education in the health professions from the John Hopkins School of Education. Dr. Hernandez has delivered a number of international, national, and regional invited lectures, contributed to the book SimWars Simulation Case Book: Emergency Medicine, and published several academic articles.
