Tom leads the Medical Technology and Devices group at Branding Science in providing market research, human factors, and user experience using approaches informed by social science. Tom has been in their field since 2005. Prior to market research, Tom was a Visiting Professor at Rutgers University where he taught Experimental Psychology, Statistics, Cognition, Reading & Language, and Child Psychology. Tom is involved in industry organizations, including Advamed, Human Factors & Ergonomics Society (HFES), and Intellus Worldwide. Tom leads the Intellus Health Literacy Initiative.
Tom has a BS in Psychology & Math from Saint Peter’s University & a PhD in Cognitive & Perception Psychology from NYU
