Matthew T. Nare is a human factors consultant for Suttons Creek, Inc. and continues to assist his thesis advisor, Dr. Gabriella Hancock, with ongoing research within the Stress and Technology Applied Research (STAR) Lab at California State University, Long Beach. He earned his master's degree in Human Factors Psychology from California State University, Long Beach in 2020. His research interests focus on investigating clinician performance through the evaluation of topics such vigilance, teamwork, workload, and interruptions. At Suttons Creek, he supports the development of combination products and medical devices through the completion of usability testing.
