Kate was previously the CEO and co-founder of ScaleDown, a clinically-proven digital weight management program that was acquired by Anthem. Dr. Wolin trained at Harvard and Northwestern as a behavioral epidemiologist and spent most of her career conducting research on the intersection of lifestyle behaviors and chronic-disease outcomes. She has built an international reputation, generating more than $4 million in federal research funding and contributing to 75 peer-reviewed publications and numerous books. She currently is a Principal at Circea, and an adjunct associate professor of preventive medicine at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, co-lead of the Zell entrepreneurial fellowship program at the Kellogg School of Management and an EIR at the University of Chicago.
