Biography
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) that will be graduating in Fall 2021 with a BA in Psychology. Through an organization called Envision, that focuses on leadership and career exploration for students, I was selected to go to Washington D.C in 2017 to participate in a leadership summit. Collaborating on timely environmental projects with other students from around the world shaped by interests in different national problems or current events. Our team came in second, with the winners having an opportunity to present at the White House. In the fall of 2020, I interned at the mental health division of Healthy Hood Chicago, a Chicago non profit. I am currently interning at the Papautsky Human Factors in Healthcare Lab at UIC. My research focus is patient work during the COVID-19 pandemic. My research interests also include the application of smart technology in health and healthcare and human-centered framing of COVID-19 behavioral interventions.
