Elaine Giletta is a second-year medical student at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she does research with the Armstrong Institute of Patient Safety and Quality. Before medical school, she earned a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University and then worked for six years managing a multi-site HIV case management and medication adherence support program in New York City. Her past quality improvement research has focused on optimizing electronic documentation and tracking systems to improve quality of care for patients with multiple comorbidities.
