Frauke is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Psychology and Ergonomics at Technische Universität Berlin. She studied Business Information Technology in Mannheim and Cambridge, and Social Anthropology, Psychology and Romance literature in Heidelberg, Madrid and Madang (Papua New Guinea). Prior to her PhD in organizational anthropology at Heidelberg University she worked as IT-professional in the industry for over a decade. Her research interests focus on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) in healthcare, assistive technologies for people with visual impairments, and on the development of ethnographic methods for HF/E research, systems design- and evaluation.
