Biography
Nicole Mollenkopf, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, BCPPS is an Assistant Professor and Director of Interprofessional Education at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She teaches pharmacology to pre-licensure nursing students in the Master of Science in Nursing: Entry into Nursing Program. She also teaches advanced clinical pharmacology to nurses in the Doctor of Nursing Advanced Practice Programs. She maintains a practice site at the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality where she is a Patient Safety Specialist. Her primary research focus is the use of lean sigma and human factors engineering principles and their application to Health Information Technology to improve the quality and safety of the medication-use process.
